Doc the Bird needs a home

Doc is a handsome Chestnut macaw who is 10+ years old who was surrendered because of his previous owner's allergies. To date he only seemed comfortable being handled by people who he has already established trust. To that end, Doc's former owner is male, so Doc may exhibit some preference for men over women. Despite his need to warm up to new people, Doc seems like a friendly and inquisitive bird. Please call FFSR for an appointment to meet Doc.  Several visits are required before an adoption can take place.
